Red Pesto & Tomato Bruschetta
This pesto recipe uses ciabatta bread and bruschetta - a classic Italian antipasti. Served as a light snack, this dish packs a flavoursome punch featuring red pesto, parmesan and salami or prosciutto.
Ingredients
Ciabatta slices
Napolina Red Pesto
Napolina Chopped Tomatoes
Fresh basil leaves
Parmesan cheese shavings
Salami or Prosciutto (optional)
Method
Toast some ciabatta slices on a griddle pan until lightly charred.
Spoon some red pesto and some chopped tomatoes over the top.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and Parmesan cheese shavings.
You can add salami or prosciutto slices, if you like.
